U.S. stocks closed with the three major indexes opening lower and closing higher; Nvidia fell over 2%
According to ChainCatcher, citing Golden Ten Data, U.S. stocks closed higher on Tuesday after opening lower. The three major indexes all rose, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average preliminarily up 1.4%, the S&P 500 up 0.9%, and the Nasdaq Composite up 0.67%. Nvidia (NVDA.O) fell 2.5%, Google (GOOG.O) rose over 1%, and AMD (AMD.O) dropped 4%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed up 0.35%, Alibaba (BABA.N) fell 2.2%, and NIO (NIO.N) dropped over 4%.
