The article analyzes the TGE performance of multiple blockchain projects, evaluating project performance using three dimensions: current price versus all-time high, time span, and liquidity-to-market cap ratio. Projects are then categorized into five grades: S, A, B, C, and D. Summary generated by Mars AI This summary was generated by the Mars AI model, and the accuracy and completeness of its content are still being iteratively updated.

How to Evaluate a Project's TGE Performance?

For each token, I examined three aspects:

  1. Current price vs. historical all-time high: how much has it retraced from the peak
  2. Time: how long since the all-time high (early projects ≠ fully “battle-tested”)
  3. Liquidity-to-market cap ratio: is this real price discovery, or just market noise due to insufficient liquidity?

You can think of it as: if you bought at TGE and didn’t sell at the top, how does your P&L compare to other tokens in the same tier?

S Tier: TGE Winners

Avici (AVICI) in a League of Its Own, S+

Performance: All-time high $5.6, current price $4.3, only a 20–25% drop

For a new token, this is exemplary: price is strong, volatility is low, and although circulating supply is small, turnover is considerable.

Interpretation: Classic “winner” traits. It experienced a surge, but unlike most new tokens in 2025, the price hasn’t fully retraced to the starting point. Even now, early investors are still sitting on hefty profits.

YieldBasis (YB)

Performance: All-time high $0.82–0.94, current price $0.44–0.56, drop of 45–55%

The all-time high occurred in mid-October 2025, so it’s a recent peak; current price is still more than double the lowest point.

Interpretation: For a yield project launched in a volatile market, maintaining half its ATH price a month after launch is rare. This type of token falls into the “strong performer but starting to mean-revert” category.

Sahara Labs AI (SAHARA)

Performance: All-time high $0.16, current price $0.008, price halved, but still up 3-4x from the low

The project is backed by well-known VCs (Pantera, Binance Labs, Polychain, etc.) and has completed large-scale financing. Its price discovery is not a meme-style retracement.

Interpretation: In the current market, a price that falls by half from the high but still maintains strong volume is quite impressive. The price hasn’t collapsed and still maintains decent liquidity.

Limitless (LMTS)

Performance: Depending on data source, ATH between $0.47–0.72, current price $0.23, drop of 50–65%

TGE was very recent (late October 2025), and even after the initial airdrop unlock, the price is still at the median of the range.

Interpretation: Not quite at AVICI’s level, but compared to most new tokens that plummeted 70–90%, LMTS’s stability is enough to barely make the S tier or top of A tier.

A Tier: Strong Post-TGE Performance but Large Drops

Lombard (BARD)

Performance: ATH $1.5–1.6, current price $0.72–0.75, drop of 50–55%, but still 2-3x above the low

Interpretation: Strong rally after launch, then halved, but didn’t enter a death spiral. For a Bitcoin ecosystem narrative relying on high leverage, this retracement is a bearable growing pain.

Kaito AI (KAITO)

Performance: ATH $2.89, current price $0.8–0.9, drop of 70–75%

Current price is still up more than 10x from the early low, liquidity is ample, and it’s listed on several major exchanges.

Interpretation: This is what I call a “successful but fully revalued” TGE: early buyers made a killing, latecomers bore the selling pressure. But compared to most AI tokens in 2025, it’s still a relative winner.

Omnipair (OMFG)

Performance: ATH $1.83–1.86, current price $0.45, drop of 75%

But note, price is trending up from the early low, and circulating supply is small.

Interpretation: Strong initial rally followed by a big retracement, but not abandoned by the community. Good performance, but not top-tier.

Umbra (UMBRA)

Performance: ATH $2.47, current price $0.59–0.6, drop of 75%

Interpretation: Similar to OMFG: overhyped, revalued, but still active and liquid in the market, a mid-to-upper tier performance.

Avantis (AVNT)

Performance: ATH $2.64, current price $0.44–0.45, drop of 80–83%, but still 2x above the low

Derivative DEX token, born in an extreme speculative frenzy, now entering value reversion phase.

Interpretation: The retracement is painful, but still within the normal volatility range for derivative DEX tokens. Mediocre performance, but not disastrous.

OG Labs (0G)

Performance: ATH $7–7.3, current price $1.2–1.3, drop of 80–83%

Interpretation: A typical high FDV infrastructure project, with fully diluted valuation excessively priced in, followed by a fierce market revaluation. Still maintains a considerable market cap and trading volume, not yet a “ghost chain,” in the A- to B+ range.

Plasma (XPL)

Performance: ATH $1.69, current price $0.25–0.27, drop of 85%

Very high trading volume, large market cap

Interpretation: Similar to 0G, strong debut followed by sharp revaluation. But compared to many seed label tokens that dropped 98% in 2025, still a “success story.”

B Tier: Post-TGE Spike and Pullback

Linea.eth (LINEA)

Performance: ATH $0.046–0.05, current price $0.01, drop of 75–80%

As a Layer2 token with a massive airdrop, such a retracement is normal.

Interpretation: Similar to 0G, strong debut followed by sharp revaluation. Likewise, compared to many seed label tokens that dropped 98% in 2025, still a “success story.”

Story (IP)

Performance: ATH $14.9, current price $2.9–3, drop of 80%

With strong VC backing and an IP narrative, the token still maintains a considerable fully diluted valuation.

Interpretation: Early hype was unprecedented, then it entered a prolonged slump. Not catastrophic, but clearly a “spike and pullback” project.

Falcon Finance (FF)

Performance: ATH $0.667, current price $0.14–0.15, drop of 75–80%

Public data shows daily trading volume remains huge, and TVL is considerable.

Interpretation: From the price action, this TGE was successful (early participants profited), but the token still experienced a 70–80% crash.

Babylon (BABY)

Performance: ATH $0.165–0.17, current price $0.023–0.025, drop of 85%

Interpretation: As a highly anticipated Bitcoin restaking concept token, its performance fell short of expectations, but hasn’t entered a “CORN, NC-style death spiral.”

Union (U)

Performance: ATH $0.023–0.027, current price $0.004, drop of 80–85%

Interpretation: Typical trajectory for a mid-cap governance token: strong debut, then slow decline with unlocks and inflation. U is not an exception among such tokens.

C Tier: Poor Post-TGE Performance

Berachain Foundation (BERA)

Performance: ATH $14.5, current price $1.3, drop of 90–91%

For a Layer1 with a top-tier narrative, huge expectations, and high valuation, this is a major failure.

Interpretation: From a TGE perspective, this is a textbook case of VC overhype leading to inflated valuation and eventual revaluation.

Boundless (ZKC)

Performance: ATH $1.79, current price $0.15, drop of 91%

Interpretation: Same trajectory as BERA but with weaker branding; clearly a failed TGE in terms of price.

Mira (MIRA)

Performance: ATH $2.35–2.61, current price $0.18, drop of 92–93%

Interpretation: Similar to ZKC, after a big rally comes a deep slump, now the chart is just another ski slope-shaped mid-cap token curve.

Solv Protocol (SOLV)

Performance: ATH $0.15–0.25, current price $0.016, drop of 90%

Interpretation: Given Solv’s credentials and claimed ecosystem size, the post-TGE price action is truly disappointing.

Allora (ALLO)

Performance: Depending on data source, ATH $0.85–1.7, current price $0.17–0.18, drop of 80–90% in a short time

Interpretation: This is the accelerated version of the airdrop token model: after the hype fades, price instantly crashes 80–90%.

D Tier: TGE Disasters

If these tokens spark heated discussion on social platforms, I’d list them as “headline-level failure cases” in this ranking.

Corn (CORN)

Performance: ATH $13.98, current price $0.07, drop of 99.5%

Interpretation: This is a normal value reversion; unless you sold quickly near the top, this TGE would be a graveyard for investors.

Nodepay (NC)

Performance: ATH $0.327, current price $0.0035, drop of 99%

Interpretation: Classic spike and crash pattern, price almost completely collapsed after a rapid surge. A casualty of the “airdrop + points mining” craze.

Manta Network (MANTA)

Performance: ATH $4.05–4.08, current price $0.1–0.11, drop of 97%

Interpretation: For a project carrying the L2 narrative and once a Binance Launchpool star, the current performance is brutal. Among the well-known projects on this list, Manta is one of the most glaring examples of “overly high FDV.”

Brief Comments on Mid-Tier Tokens

BABY: An 85% drop from ATH is indeed bad, but not unique; I put it in B tier because, in the market, it still trades like a legitimate Layer1 or restaking project, not a dead mining token.

XPL, 0G, AVNT: All saw 80–85% price retracements, but still maintain high trading volume and market cap. If you didn’t sell at the top, losses are heavy, but in the 2025 token launch environment, this is almost “the norm.”

Omnipair, Umbra, BARD, KAITO: These are “decent” TGE cases among the mid-tier—big initial surges followed by sharp pullbacks, but still maintaining high market liquidity.
