PANews berichtete am 12. Mai, dass laut Lookonchain-Überwachung ein Wal, der mit 0x5D2F beginnt, eine Bitcoin-Short-Position im Wert von 44 Millionen Dollar mit einem Hebel von 40x eröffnet hat, mit einem Liquidationspreis von 112.660 Dollar.

Zuvor wurde berichtet, dass der "Hyperliquid 50x Wal" (Adresse beginnend mit 0x51d9) nach 35 Tagen erneut eine hoch gehebelte Short-Position auf BTC eröffnet hat, mit einem Hebel von 40x und einer Short-Position von 888,8 BTC (ungefähr 92,93 Millionen Dollar), einem Eröffnungspreis von 104.094 Dollar und einem Liquidationspreis von 105.689 Dollar.
