Injective launches Gas Compression to compress on-chain transaction costs to near zero
Layer 1 blockchain Injective has announced the launch of Gas Compression, aimed at compressing the cost of on-chain transactions (including staking, trading on dApps, borrowing, minting NFTs, governance proposal voting, and other activities) to near zero. The team stated that the nominal cost of each transaction on its platform is only 0.00001 INJ or $0.0003, for example, the cost of minting 1,000 NFTs on its chain is only $0.30, which is more than 100 times lower than the cost on Ethereum and 500% lower than the cost on chains such as Polygon.
