The premium of Bitcoin in Japan rose to 1.49% in early April, the highest since March 2020
Golden Finance reported that TradingView data showed that the Bitcoin-Japanese Yen (BTC/JPY) trading pair of Japanese cryptocurrency exchange bitFlyer was about 0.2% higher than the dollar-denominated price of Bitcoin on Nasdaq-listed Coinbase (COIN). In recent weeks, mainstream cryptocurrencies have continued to show a premium in yen terms, rising to as high as 1.49% at the beginning of this month, the highest level since March 2020, indicating that traders are diversifying their investments in alternative assets to avoid yen fluctuations.
