While 2024 will be marked by memecoins other than Bitcoin, the latest event took memecoins to a different dimension.
A kid who broadcasts live on the internet created a token called Quant (QUANT) and earned $30,000. A whale who noticed the token called QUANT and bought it earned close to $1 million.
According to Lookonchain's post, a kid created a coin called Quant during a live stream and sold it all for 128 SOL worth $30,000, making a profit of $29,600.
However, this kid who earned $30,000 missed a great opportunity because the 51 million Quant tokens he sold are now worth $4 million.
This boy also later created coins called Lucy and Sorry and sold them all for a profit of 103 SOL (worth $24,000).

Whale Spotted It and Won $1 Million!
Lookonchain also said that a whale who noticed the memecoin called QUANT also invested and made a tremendous return of 2.141x.
Accordingly, a whale earned $988,000 with just 2 Solanas (worth $462) in 3 hours. This whale, which has sold only $27,000 so far, still hasn't sold $962,000 of its profit.
