Report: crypto industry VC investment grows to $13.6 billion in 2024, expected to reach $18 billion in 2025
According to a DeFi report, blockchain startups received $13.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024, or 4.9% of the year's total investment of $279 billion. This figure is a rebound from the $10.1 billion raised in 2023, but is still well below the record $32.4 billion set in 2021. Going forward, analysts expect the crypto industry to attract more than $18 billion in venture capital in 2025, benefiting from falling interest rates and regulatory clarity.
