Metaplanet will be included in the MSCI Japan Index
The CEO of the Japanese listed company Metaplanet, Simon Gerovich, disclosed that the company will officially be included in the MSCI Japan Index after closing on February 28, 2025. As a well-known Bitcoin financial company in Asia, MetaPlanet's selection signifies its Bitcoin strategy has been recognized by mainstream markets.
Simon stated that this inclusion will bring three positive impacts to MetaPlanet: Firstly, it will significantly enhance the company's reputation among global investors; Secondly, passive funds and ETFs tracking the MSCI index will automatically allocate this stock, bringing new capital inflows; Lastly, being selected also proves that the company's market position and business strategy have been recognized.
