Circle's euro stablecoin EURC issuance soars to an all-time high
On April 15, news emerged that the supply of the euro stablecoin EURC issued by Circle has reached an all-time high. As trade tensions in the U.S. escalate and the dollar weakens, demand for euro-denominated digital assets may be driven up. According to data from RWA.xyz, the supply of EURC has increased by 43% over the past month, reaching 217 million tokens valued at $246 million. Most EURC tokens are circulating on the Ethereum network, which saw a growth of 35% in the past month to reach 112 million tokens. The supply of EURC on the Solana network grew fastest, increasing by 75% over the past month to reach 70 million tokens. On Base, the supply of EURC reached 30 million tokens.
