ShremHouse Whitepaper
The ShremHouse whitepaper was written and released by the ShremHouse core team in early 2025, aiming to address the high barriers and centralized management issues of the traditional real estate market, and to explore a new model of decentralized home ownership and community governance based on blockchain.
The theme of the ShremHouse whitepaper is “ShremHouse: Empowering Community Co-building in a Decentralized Living Ecosystem.” Its uniqueness lies in proposing “community consensus-driven asset tokenization” and “smart contract automated management of residency rights,” using blockchain to achieve fractional ownership and transparent management of housing assets; its significance is in laying the foundation for the decentralized living sector, defining future standards for community co-building and sharing, and significantly lowering the threshold for individual participation in real estate.
ShremHouse’s original intention is to solve problems such as poor liquidity, high entry barriers, and lack of transparency in ownership in the traditional real estate market. The core viewpoint presented in the whitepaper is: by combining “asset tokenization” with a “DAO governance model,” to strike a balance between inclusiveness, liquidity, and community autonomy, thereby building a decentralized living network jointly owned and governed by residents.
