Did I time the current bottom ? Yes. I longed KAS ADA ETH SUI etc... which have all given me nice overall gains. But that's what you see. That's the picture most of CX likes to paint. They longed the perfect bottom. No losses ever occurred. Portfolio continues to make new ATHs consistently without any drawdowns. It's fake. Always is and always will be. It's not the fact I timed the bottom; it's how I timed the bottom. I knew the probabilities of going higher, thus my entries @ key levels. But I also knew the probabilities of those key levels failing and price going lower, thus the proper and rational risk management. If I took losses on all of my longs, I would not have gotten rekt. Ya my TA is good, I have a track record I like to float around to remind people. But I still get it wrong. I'm good on my good days and bad on my bad days like everyone else. But I always make sure my bad days never prevent me from seeing my good days. That's what separates me from the herd. When I'm wrong, I lose small and when I win, I win big. My wins always make up for my losses & beyond. This was the reason I was even able to time the bottom. Before this, I took losses on my first dice roll. I took a loss on AVAX. This was a level I have waited YEARS for. An optimal reversal level (highly probabilistic) that was one of my favorite levels in the entire market. It hit with confluence alongside BTC; but never held. I ate a stop loss for -3% risk which is my max drawdown for risk % on a single position. But, I never risked 5% or 10% or more. Reminder, this was one of my favorite levels in the entire market. In my head, the probability was as close to a certainty as you could probably get for a level. Yet, I never broke my risk drawdown. I knew it still wasn't a certainty. Nothing in this market is. Facing a -3% drawdown, I gave myself the opportunity to stay in the game and make-up for that loss. Which I did; my current longs have already surpassed that mark with secured profits & trailed stop losses. But if I risked degen 15% or more, I'd be chasing breakeven. Which is a reality for the majority of CX. A repeated cycle hidden behind social media larping. Timing is the game. But it's how you time it. Most can't even stay in the game long enough to capitalize and truly profit from a timed bottom.
