BioPassport is a decentralized platform that aims to provide a holistic solution to healthcare issues through a decentralized personal health record (DPHR) and telehealth platform. The platform is built around decentralized identity (DID) technology to ensure secure and consistent management of data. Users can input health data and use the platform as a "health passport" for travel purposes. The platform also utilizes blockchain technology for secure data management and to prevent healthcare data breaches.
The project was co-founded by Kim Ji-Hyun and Ahn Woong-sik in 2022.
How BioPassport (BIOT) Works
BioPassport allows users to input their health data into the app, then analyzes the data and sends notifications to users to help make healthcare decisions. The platform offers remote medical testing for COVID-19, lung cancer, and atopy, which can be purchased through a subscription-based model. The test kits are easy to use and yield quick results. BioPassport's AI can make risk assessments based on user data and recommend treatment when necessary. Users can also list their decentralized personal health record (DPHR) on the BioPassport Marketplace for potential buyers to access with their permission. Additionally, the platform offers telehealth services, including remote health consultation and diagnosis from dedicated professionals. To incentivize users to use their services, BioPassport rewards users with BIOT token.
