Botto is a decentralized AI-generative artist that creates arts based on feedback from the community. Botto was created by Mario Klingemann in 2021 and made its first million within the first five weeks. The AI artist runs non-stop to produce artworks, which are auctioned off on SuperRare, and the acquired money is then distributed to Botto participants.
How Botto (BOTTO) Works
Every week, Botto produces a “round” 350 artworks called “art fragments”. Those who stake BOTTO in the protocol get to vote and choose the most aesthetically pleasing pieces. These votes will be fed to Botto so it learns what is considered beautiful arts by people. The most voted on art fragment will be put on auction in SuperRare, and the revenues generated from the auction will be given to the community in ETH or BOTTO token. The community can also earn BOTTO by contributing to the protocol in various ways, such as finding artists and partners for the AI artist.
