ON THE MATTER OF BITCOIN AND THE MARKET I have observed a rather intense period for Bitcoin, as its value recently was sharply rejected after approaching the $113,000 threshold. In fact, the price was pushed down by more than two thousand dollars in a single day. However, I am now seeing a resurgence of bullish sentiment, with the price making a return as we speak. This is not the first time such an event has transpired. The primary cryptocurrency has, for several days, endured considerable selling pressure near the $113,000 mark. I recall quite distinctly that last Friday, following the release of the latest US jobs report, the asset briefly surged past this level, only to be immediately driven down by more than three thousand dollars within the hour. After a few days of consolidation, a determined offensive was mounted by the bulls earlier this week, pushing Bitcoin once again to $113,200. However, the bears re-emerged, preventing a definitive breakout. The digital asset subsequently fell, only to have the bulls initiate another advance. I have watched as this upward momentum has brought BTC to nearly $113,000 once more. I note that the cryptocurrency's total market cap has slipped slightly below $2.250 trillion, with its dominance over altcoins standing at 56.1%. THE ASCENSION OF VARIOUS ALTCOINS While I have noticed that most of the major altcoins have been rather sluggish over the past 24 hours, the situation is quite different further down the list. Several of the mid- and lower-cap assets are showing impressive gains. The larger-cap alts, such as ETH, XRP, and ADA, are slightly in the red, while others like SOL and DOGE have seen only minor increases. However, it is the smaller players that have truly taken center stage. HASH has enjoyed a remarkable 33% surge, reaching a value of over $0.037. IP, PUMP, and MNT have also posted double-digit gains, with increases of 21%, 14%, and 12.5%, respectively.
