Magic Eden Launches Bitcoin Ordinals NFT Creator Launchpad
NFT marketplace Magic Eden announced Thursday that it is launching a creator launchpad (Launchpad) for Bitcoin Ordinals to help creators successfully engrave their Bitcoin-based NFT collections. While the company already has the infrastructure in place for creators to list and sell Ordinals, the Launchpad will help creators join an ecosystem that will easily facilitate the creation of tokens on the Bitcoin network. To launch its Launchpad, Magic Eden partnered with Godjira, an ethereum-based NFT collection, to release its bitcoin-based (dead) Jira collection on April 7. Helping creators mint Ordinals will help develop a larger market for tokenized assets on Bitcoin, said Zhuoxun Yin, Magic Eden's COO and co-founder, in a press release.
