Arbitrum: Arbitrum DAO Has Accumulated Approximately 3352 ETH in Revenue

2023/05/10 01:09

Arbitrum announced in a tweet that Arbitrum is sending all surplus revenue generated from transaction fees to their respective DAOs, and that all users on Arbitrum One will have to pay when they trade on the network. The fees are divided into two parts: 1. L1 fees to pay for fees on Ether, and 2. L2 fees to pay for Arbitrum's fees. The excess L1 fee and all L2 fees accumulate on the chain before being sent to DAO, with a large portion of the L1 fee reserved for Sequencer, which has accumulated a refund of approximately 5,954 ETH.

All remaining funds from the L1 fees are considered surplus and currently the L1 surplus is approximately 582 ETH and can be collected by the DAO. the L2 base fees have accumulated approximately 1,308 ETH and can be collected by the DAO and the L2 surplus fees have accumulated approximately 1,462 ETH and can be collected by the DAO. in total, the Arbitrum DAO has accumulated approximately 3352 ETH of revenue and Sequencer will refund approximately 5,954 ETH, which is the cost of publishing all data to the Ethernet network.
