Privacy Protocol Threshold Partners with Wormhole to Support tBTC Transfers to 20+ Blockchains
According to CoinDesk, privacy protocol Threshold Network has partnered with cross-chain token protocol Wormhole. The integration with Wormhole will support tBTC transfers to 20 blockchain ecosystems, including EVM-compatible chains such as Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon, as well as non-EVM chains such as Solana, Aptos, Sui and Cosmos. such as Solana, Aptos, Sui, and Cosmos.
Wormhole proposed integration into the Threshold community in mid-April, saying its goal was to help tBTC become the dominant bitcoin token in the on-chain DeFi ecosystem. The proposal was fully approved on April 29 following a governance vote.
