Lookonchain: BNB Bridge Attacker Pledges BNBs on Venus with a Liquidation Price of ~$220
According to Lookonchain, the BNB Bridge attackers pledged 924,821 BNBs (worth approximately $250 million) on the BNB Chain lending protocol Venus Protocol, with a liquidation price of approximately $220. However, following the attack, Venus adopted a proposal in November 2022 for a whitelist liquidation system in response to the incident, whereby CoinA would work with other BNB Chain ecosystem participants to take over the position when it reached the liquidation line and jointly repay the debt. the BNB Chain core team is the sole liquidator of this position to securely control the position and avoid serial liquidation.
