Crypto companies should focus on emerging markets rather than Europe and the US
According to Benzinga, Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino said crypto companies should focus on emerging markets rather than the U.S. and Europe, where demand for crypto infrastructure is stronger in countries with less robust banking infrastructures such as Argentina, Paraguay and Mexico.
Ardoino also said that Bitcoin is the only truly decentralized cryptocurrency and is the only one that has not been attacked by any regulator. In addition, Ardoino expressed concern about the rising trend of meme coins in the cryptocurrency market and argued that these coins are often driven by hype and speculation, which could damage the reputation of the industry.
