JP Morgan: Ethereum could outperform Bitcoin next year
According to a report by Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou and other analysts at JPMorgan, Ethereum's performance may surpass Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies by 2024. We believe that Ethereum will regain its market share in the cryptocurrency ecosystem next year. The main catalyst for this is the EIP-4844 upgrade or Protodanksharding, which is expected to take place in the second half of 2024. We believe that this upgrade could take a bigger step towards improving Ethereum's network activity and help Ethereum outperform the market.
