The copyright of Disney's first short film featuring Mickey Mouse, "Steamboat Willie," will expire on January 1, 2024. One of the earliest versions of Mickey Mouse is now available for public use. After the copyright expires, three NFT series related to this original version of Mickey Mouse became the top three in sales on OpenSea in the past 24 hours. Among them, the "Steamboat Willie Public Domain 2024" NFT series ranked first with a transaction volume of about 1.2 million US dollars, while the "Steamboat Willie" NFT series and "Steamboat Willie's Riverboat" NFT series ranked second and third, respectively.
