Reuters: The US SEC must approve or reject the Ark/21Shares ETF by January 10th
According to sources cited by Reuters, several Bitcoin spot ETF issuers discussed the requirement of submitting S-1 prospectus filings for each ETF with officials from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Friday. It is expected that the final approval for the S-1 applications will be received later next Tuesday or Wednesday. The SEC has requested "minor" adjustments from three Bitcoin ETF issuers, and it is anticipated that some asset management companies will modify their filings to disclose the fees or market maker status of their ETFs.
Sources indicate that issuers who complete their filings before the year-end filing revision deadline may be approved to launch before January 10th when the SEC must approve or reject Ark/21Shares ETF, which is the first fund.
