BlackRock submits securities registration application for its spot Bitcoin ETF to the U.S. SEC
According to The Block, BlackRock submitted a securities registration application for its iShares Bitcoin Trust's spot Bitcoin ETF to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), namely the 8-A form.
The issuer's 8-A form allows the issuer to register for trading on the trading platform, marking progress towards potential approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF.
