Base releases specific timetable for testnet migration
According to official sources, Ethereum Layer 2 network Base has released a specific timetable for migrating from Goerli to Sepolia, including:
· On January 19th, the deposit function on the Base Goerli cross-chain bridge will be suspended;
· On January 31st, the Base document will no longer mention Goerli;
· On February 9th, Base Goerli infrastructure (including the Base Goerli cross-chain bridge user interface) will be shut down.
Base recommends that users transfer their testnet funds from Base Goerli to Ethereum Goerli before the infrastructure is split on February 9th, 2024.
