Since the merger of Lido with Ethereum, the usage rate of the protocol validator client Geth has dropped from 93% to 67%
Lido, a liquidity pledging platform, officially released data stating that since the merger of Ethereum in Q4 2022, the usage rate of client Geth among Lido protocol validators has been integrated from 93% to 67% (preliminary data as of Q4 2023).
Lido stated that the final validator and node operator metrics for last year's fourth quarter are still being compiled. Its latest Q4 report for 2023 is about to be released. Lido node operators are pushing to reduce the usage rate of mainstream clients to less than two-thirds.
