On January 31st, according to Bitget market data, influenced by the news released by blockchain detective ZachXBT that "Ripple may have been hacked and 213 million XRP (equivalent to 112 million USD) stolen", XRP briefly dropped nearly 4% and is now priced at $0.497.
Previously reported, blockchain detective ZachXBT posted on social media stating that he detected suspicious activity indicating that Ripple had been hacked and approximately 213 million XRP (equivalent to 112 million USD) were stolen. The stolen funds have been laundered through several CEX platforms.
