OP Labs: Delta Upgrade Goes Live on OP Chain, Introduces Cross-Batch Functionality
OP Labs announced on the X platform that the Delta upgrade has been launched on the OP chain. Delta introduces cross-batch functionality, which reduces operational costs associated with managing the OP chain by over 90%. Cross-batching will support the adoption of the OP stack by lowering L1 costs of the OP chain, thereby reducing the risk of launching new L2s with the OP stack. Node operators are required to upgrade their nodes before the Delta upgrade, but there will be no impact on end users.
