According to data from the Federal Reserve's official website on March 11th, as of March 5th, the size of the Federal Reserve's balance sheet had decreased to $7.538 trillion, with a total reduction of $1.2 trillion in the past year.
On March 10th of last year, the US financial regulatory agency announced the closure of Silicon Valley Bank, triggering a crisis in the US banking industry. The Federal Reserve's balance sheet expanded for three consecutive weeks to rescue the market, and on March 21st, 2023, it reached a high point of $8.733 trillion in the past year.
