CME: 93.1% probability of Fed leaving rates unchanged in May, 66.9% probability of cumulative 25 bps cut in June
CME "Fed Watch" data show that the probability of the Federal Reserve to keep interest rates unchanged in May is 93.1%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis points of interest rate cuts is 6.9%. The probability that the Fed will keep interest rates unchanged in June is 28.3%, the probability of a cumulative interest rate cut of 25 basis points is 66.9%, the probability of a cumulative interest rate cut of 50 basis points is 4.8%.
