Analyst: Fed's rate cut schedule will have limited impact on market
Bespoke Investment Group co-founder Paul Hickey said last week that investors are willing to be patient on the timetable for a rate cut if a rate hike is not on the table, analysts said, according to Golden Ten. This sentence is worth noting. In other words, it doesn't matter whether the Fed cuts rates later than previously expected, or less than previously forecast. Because no matter what, the market also knows that the Fed intends to cut interest rates, which is good enough when the U.S. economy is so resilient.
