Bitcoin L2 Network BOB Closes $10 Million Funding Round
BOB, a hybrid Layer2 (L2) network on Bitcoin, has closed a $10 million funding round led by Castle Island Ventures with participation from Mechanism Ventures, Bankless Ventures, CMS Ventures, UTXO Management, and angel investors Dan Held and Domo, creators of the BRC-20 token standard. BOB's goal is to launch the first Bitcoin Layer2 that is compatible with the Ethernet Virtual Machine (EVM).
