The total financing amount in the crypto market reached $1.02 billion in April, involving 161 financings, slightly down from the total investment of $1.09 billion in 186 instances in March. However, cryptocurrency venture capital has broken through $1 billion for the second consecutive month this year, a first since the end of 2022. The most notable financings include an investment of $47 million led by BlackRock into asset tokenization company Securitize and a massive investment of $225 million received by "Solana killer" Layer1 blockchain Monad supported by Paradigm and Coinbase Ventures. Additionally, blockchain infrastructure startup Auradine and Cosmos-based Layer1 blockchain Berachain's team also respectively secured funding support of $80 million and $100 million.
