Fed Governor Bowman: Now is not the right time to cut interest rates
Bowman, a member of the Federal Reserve Board, expects inflation rates to remain high for a period of time. Currently, it is not the appropriate time to lower interest rates, and the basic outlook is still that inflation rates will return to 2% as policy rates remain unchanged for a "period of time".
