The official X account of heavy metal band Metallica has been suspected of being hacked and promoting a token called METAL on the Solana chain. Related posts indicate that the token was launched in cooperation with Ticketmaster and MoonPay, and as of the publication, neither party has made a public statement regarding the legality of this partnership.
In addition, the post promoting METAL links to the Metallica official website, but there is no information about the token on the website.
