Australian broadcaster 7News’ YouTube account hijacked to post fake video of Elon Musk promoting crypto scam

Odaily News The YouTube channel of the Seven Network (7News), a major Australian broadcaster, was hijacked and released a deep fake cryptocurrency promotion scam. The 7News YouTube channel was renamed as the car manufacturer Tesla and showed a fake video of Elon Musk saying that he was giving away free cryptocurrency. As of press time, a total of about 150,000 people watched the three fake Elon Musk live broadcasts on the 7News channel. It is not clear how many viewers are robots. (Cointelegraph)
