The trading volume of Bitcoin has dropped by more than 88% this month
According to Cointelegraph, the trading volume of Bitcoin runes has fallen by more than 88% this month. The total income that Bitcoin miners have received from rune transactions in the past six consecutive days is less than 2 Bitcoins, a significant drop from the record high of 884 Bitcoins on April 24th. According to Dune Analytics data, from June 22nd to June 28th, the daily average transaction volume of Runes was about 37.8 thousand transactions, nearly a 90% decrease compared to the daily average of about 331 thousand transactions between June 9th and June15th. Particularly on June24th when there were only about23.2 thousand transactions which marked its lowest level since Bitcoin's fourth halving event. Over the past week, Rune trades accounted for only4.9-11.1%of all Bitcoin trades.
