Ethereum Foundation Unveils Devcon 2024 Details: Ticket Sales, Speaker Applications, and More
The Ethereum Foundation has released comprehensive updates for Devcon 2024, which will take place in Bangkok from November 12-15. The event promises to be a significant gathering for the Ethereum community, featuring ticket sales, speaker applications, and various ways to get involved, according to the Ethereum Foundation Blog .
Ticket Sales Now Open
Tickets for Devcon 2024 are now available. The Ethereum Foundation is offering several discounts for builders and local attendees. Ethereum contributors can also benefit from self-claimable discounts by verifying their Ethereum address or GitHub username. Additionally, a raffle-auction ending on July 9 enables winners to claim their tickets by July 31, 2024. General Admission tickets will be released in waves starting July 16, with no ID required for anonymity.
Speaker Applications Invited
Applications are now open for those interested in speaking at Devcon SEA. The deadline for speaker applications is July 30, with initial approvals to be communicated by the end of August. The Ethereum Foundation is particularly interested in educational talks on topics relevant to Ethereum, spanning ten programming tracks, including Core Protocol, Cypherpunk and Privacy, Usability, and more.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering at Devcon offers a unique opportunity to become deeply involved in the Ethereum community. Volunteers will assist during the event, collaborate with the Devcon team, and build valuable connections. Applications for volunteer positions are currently open.
Ethereum SEA Day
Scheduled for November 11, Ethereum SEA Day aims to strengthen the Ethereum ecosystem in Southeast Asia. The event will feature introductory content and initiatives led by community leaders, making it an excellent opportunity for newcomers to get acquainted with Ethereum.
