Polygon CISO: Uses Crowdstrike but not affected by this security incident
Polygon's Chief Information Security Officer, Mudit Gupta, stated that the latest version of Crowdstrike Falcon EDR contains an error that causes endless crashing and restarting on Windows devices. Currently, most of the world's IT infrastructure has been paralyzed, including emergency services, airports, and stock exchanges. Polygon Labs also uses Crowdstrike, but we have not been affected because we do not roll out non-critical updates to employees before testing. In any case, Polygon's network is decentralized. Even if Polygon Labs were affected by such an IT event, the Polygon network would not be affected.
