HIVE Digital plans to build 100 MW hydroelectric data center in Paraguay
Canadian-listed mining company HIVE Digital announced plans to build a 100 MW hydroelectric data center in Paraguay, with the goal of increasing its Bitcoin mining hash rate to 12 EH/s or more next year. As part of its expansion, HIVE has also acquired 500 S21 Pro Antminers. As of July 21, 2024, HIVE holds 2,521 BTC, worth approximately $170 million.
