Opinion: The net outflow of ETHE funds is higher than GBTC, which may be related to their respective launch times
Farside Investors posted on the X platform stating that ETHE has a higher net outflow than GBTC. One factor could be that GBTC was launched earlier than ETHE (2013 vs 2017). Therefore, there might be a higher proportion of people among GBTC holders who have substantial unrealized capital gains and are thus less willing to sell. Another factor is that ETHE holders may want to pledge their tokens. In addition, the fees for ETHE reach 2.5%, while those for GBTC have been reduced to at least 1.5%.
