Ripple CEO: Harris should lead the US Democratic Party to support cryptocurrency to win votes
In response to Democratic Congressman Brad Sherman's statement that "the value of Bitcoin is unsustainable," Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse commented that Vice President Harris should not listen to (and quickly stay away from) people who speak such nonsense. The Democratic Party has not won any votes because of their opposition to cryptocurrency (and thus opposition to innovation), while the Republican Party has won votes by embracing and encouraging innovation in the United States. It is time to catch up with many other leading economies and governments that have clear road rules.
