Odaily News SlowMist Chief Information Security Officer 23pds said in a post on X that a Google Chrome password manager error caused a large number of users saved passwords to disappear. Google said the problem started on July 24 and lasted for nearly 18 hours, affecting Windows users using the M127 version of Chrome, with about 15 million users affected.
