Casper security update: Testing of blockchain update enters final stages
On July 30th, Casper released an update on recent security events:
Testing for the Casper blockchain update has entered the final stage;
After testing, preparation, and release, the validator community will resume running consensus and restart block production;
It can be confirmed that only 13 accounts were affected, all unauthorized transfers have been traced, and the security issue has been brought under control;
The next communication will take place on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024 in the evening in Europe, in the afternoon in the Eastern United States, and in the evening and morning in Asia.
