Digital asset infrastructure Roma obtains virtual asset service provider license from Dubai VARA
Digital asset infrastructure Roma announced that it has obtained the virtual asset service provider license issued by Dubai VARA, which enables Roma to provide regulated virtual asset brokerage and trading services for customers, including digital asset deposit and withdrawal, brokerage, and over-the-counter trading services. It is reported that Roma was founded by former Managing Director of Sequoia Capital, Amit Jain, and is dedicated to bridging the gap between legal assets and digital assets for global institutions. It raised $22 million in seed funding in 2022, led by Sequoia Capital India.
