Donald Trump Makes a New Bitcoin Move Again
Donald Trump, one of the leading presidential candidates in the USA, introduced his new Bitcoin initiative in his announcement.
Former US President Donald Trump has launched a new official line featuring limited edition sneakers that can be purchased with Bitcoin. The announcement comes from CIC Ventures LLC, a company wholly owned by Trump, according to its 2023 financial disclosure.
Dubbed the “Crypto President,” Trump's new sneakers are part of his ongoing effort to appeal to cryptocurrency enthusiasts. The high-top sneakers, which cost $500 each, are in a striking “Bitcoin orange” color, according to the statement. Each pair is individually numbered and there are only 1,000 pairs available.

It looks like Trump is seeking both the votes and financial support of the cryptocurrency community in the US.
The launch follows Trump's recent speech at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, where he expressed his strong support for the cryptocurrency industry. “I spoke at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday. It was great! Get your Bitcoin Sneakers now. They are Limited Edition, each one is numbered, and you can now pay with Bitcoin or your favorite crypto,” Trump tweeted.
During his speech in Nashville, Trump promised to establish a strategic national Bitcoin reserve if he is re-elected president.
