Berkshire Hathaway reduced its Apple shares by nearly 50% in Q2
According to the 10-Q report released by Berkshire Hathaway A (BRK.A.N) on Saturday, the company significantly reduced its holdings of Apple (AAPL.O) shares from 789 million in the first quarter to about 400 million in the second quarter, a decrease of nearly 50%. Berkshire Hathaway currently holds approximately 2.6% of Apple's shares, which is worth about $88 billion based on last Friday's closing price of $219.86. The reduction in Apple shares was not surprising, but the scale was unexpected.
