US SEC delays decision on spot Ether ETF options until December
The US SEC has again delayed its decision on spot Ether ETF options, according to an October 11 filing. The U.S. SEC delayed a decision on a proposed rule change that would allow Cboe exchanges to list options related to several popular spot ETH funds, and the deadline for the agency's ruling has been pushed back from 19 October to 3 December, the filing said. BTC ETF options will likely launch in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2025, said James Seyffart, a Bloomberg industry research analyst.
