AIP-91 has now been approved by the Aptos governance process

Aptos announced on X platform that AIP-91 has been approved by Aptos' governance process. The enumeration type in Move will allow developers to define structured data with multiple variants, including:

-Improved code readability and maintainability;

-Making complex data transformations easier;

-Through version control, enumeration types allow data to evolve over time without breaking compatibility.
