The number of Bitcoin whales has surged to its highest level since January 2021
Data tracked by André Dragosch, European Research Director at Glassnode and Bitwise, shows that the number of so-called whales or network entities owning at least 1,000 BTC jumped to 1,678 earlier this week, reaching its highest level since January 2021. The continuous accumulation of Bitcoin by large holders, coupled with the strong growth of alternative tools (especially US-listed spot ETFs), indicates a growing confidence in the future price prospects of Bitcoin.
