Ripple Co-founder: Harris Could Be Key Figure in Correcting Biden Administration's "Failed" Cryptocurrency Policy
Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen stated that he believes Harris could be a key figure in correcting the significant mistakes made by President Biden's administration on cryptocurrency policy. In an interview on Tuesday, Larsen expressed strong views on the current state of U.S. crypto regulation, calling it a "misleading war against the crypto industry." As Larsen made these comments, the crypto industry is deepening its political funding to influence regulatory decisions. According to Public Citizen, the industry has invested more than $119 million in political campaigns. He said: "We are very excited about her economic message, which supports innovation and ensures that America occupies a dominant position in global industries."
In addition, Larsen also harshly criticized Gary Gensler, chairman of the U.S. SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), calling him "the worst government official in this country".
